Gypsy and the Cat

Have you ever come across a song that you loved from the first instant you heard it? That you can listen to hundreds of times over and still be obsessed with?

No? Right, well, looks like it’s just me then. Gypsy and the Cat’s latest offering ‘Time to Wander’ is that song for me right now. I challenge you not to bop your head along to the poppy beat, not to get swept away with the softly synthesized vocals. For some reason this tune reminds me of one Charlie Ford, the amazing St Kilda second-hand bookshop attendant and new found friend I met during my most recent Melbourne wanderings; that’s probably wherein most of the song’s appeal lies, so that may not translate to people who aren’t lucky enough to know Charlie Ford.

But it’s still a beautiful song; the musical representation of a crisp autumn’s day of wandering through the forest. Plus, the video clip is all kinds of awesome – check it out here.
