Hopeless Lingerie are looking for an Intern!

There’s something magical about lingerie (and no, I’m not talking about it’s ability to turn a grown man into a drooling neanderthal when donned correctly, though that is rather nifty).Ā  Like many, there’s something about slipping into some dainty lace and sensual silk that makes me feel instantly better, even with the knowledge that no-one else is going to see it (it’s a girl thing); and few do delicates better than Melbourne’s Hopeless Lingerie.

Babette Modal Jersey Coral Camisole - $60

Founded by sisters Gabrielle and Dominique in August 2008, Hopeless make vintage-inspired lingerie and sleepwear from luxurious fabrics such as silk, chiffon, georgette, liberty cotton and organic jersey.

Now, if you’re looking for something challenging, rewarding and generally rad to do in 2011, and you’ve got at least potentially mad sewing skills, then pay attention: the ladies behind Hopeless are seeking an intern to assist with almost every aspect of the label.

Some basic word processing and data entry

and much more…!

For all the details and how to apply, head on over to Spokes and Daggers, the official blog for Hopeless Lingerie. Or if you’re like me and have all the sewing skills of a marmoset, probably better to go straight to the Hopeless online store and buy yourself some pretty things instead.

  1. Oooh, what an exciting opportunity… unfortunately I share your lack of sewing skills. They look like they’ve got a really solid, well designed line of lingerie, which can be hard to find in my area. Their bras are very, very cute.
PS: Thanks for the comment! Next time The National comes to play in Melbourne you should DEFINITELY get a ticket, it was worth every bit of the $70 asking price. x
